Student council was very busy over the Pre-Thanksgiving weeks collecting donations and raising funds for "The Extra Mile", helping those affected by Hurricane Sandy down in Toms River, NJ. Student council raised over $200 dollars and were able to fill 20 bags with toys stuffed animals and most importantly some sporting equipment. The goal of the equipment was that those receiving the packages were able to forget about the mess they have going on for a few minutes and get some fitness in their lives!
